| Fist ball is one aeltestens of the kinds of sport
of the world. The fistball game was for the first time historically mentioned
in the year 240 A.D. von Gordianus, emperor von Rom. Antonio Scaino wrote
to 1555 the first rules for the Italian people sport "bundle play". German
George Heinrich weber (1834-1913) wrote end of the 19.Jahrhunderts the
first German set of rules.
Its largest spreading found the play in Germany, where since 1893 organized
one plays. In the European neighboring countries Austria, Switzerland and
Italy attained the play large popularity. German emigrants brought it to
southwest Africa, Canada, the USA and South America.
The fistball game ranks among the so-called setback plays. 2 crews with
5 players each stand themselves on for 20 x 50 m a large playing field
(20 x 40 m resound), separately by a net broad strained in 2-m-Hoehe up
to 6 cm and/or opposite volume. Philosophy is it to place the 320-380g
in such a way heavy fist ball in the opposing half that the opponent cannot
reach these. The ball is struck with the fist or with the arm.
The substantial factors of the set of rules are here in edited version
shown: Fist ball is both a field (field size 20 x 50 m) and a kind of resounding
haven (field size 20 x 40 m). The field is separate by a center line, about
what in 2m height is strained up to 6-cm-breites a net or a volume at two
releasing posts. far away from the center line the service line is marked
The ball is filled with air (leathers or similar materials with a weight
before beginning of play of 320 - 380g. A crew consists of 5 players and
3 substitutes, who can arbitrarily often be replaced during play interruption
to one point of loss. Is played after sentences until 20 points (2 points
difference, max. to 25).
A play is won, if a crew decided 2 sentences for itself. With singles
match meetings on 3 profit rates one plays. In some leagues also after
time 2x15 min. and/or in resounds to 2x10 min. played. The play course
begins with the indication and ends with the first following error. The
ball may be played by each crew three times directly or indirectly. With
the estimate over the net the ball in the opposing field must affect the
soil or an opponent. Two and repeated affecting of the soil or affecting
the net applies just like in ' out ' struck balls as errors.
