Fist ball

Fist ball is one aeltestens of the kinds of sport of the world. The fistball game was for the first time historically mentioned in the year 240 A.D. von Gordianus, emperor von Rom. Antonio Scaino wrote to 1555 the first rules for the Italian people sport "bundle play". German George Heinrich weber (1834-1913) wrote end of the 19.Jahrhunderts the first German set of rules.  Its largest spreading found the play in Germany, where since 1893 organized one plays. In the European neighboring countries Austria, Switzerland and Italy attained the play large popularity. German emigrants brought it to southwest Africa, Canada, the USA and South America. Play idea The fistball game ranks among the so-called setback plays. 2 crews with 5 players each stand themselves on for 20 x 50 m a large playing field (20 x 40 m resound), separately by a net broad strained in 2-m-Hoehe up to 6 cm and/or opposite volume. Philosophy is it to place the 320-380g in such a way heavy fist ball in the opposing half that the opponent cannot reach these. The ball is struck with the fist or with the arm.
